I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have spent more than a decade working with OCD, anxiety, and the ways they can quietly take over a person’s life.
What I love most about this work is helping people understand what’s happening without making them feel like something is wrong with them. OCD has a language of its own, and once you start recognizing it, you can stop letting it make so many of the decisions.
Outside of work, I’m someone who believes deeply in family, humor, growth, and finding joy in ordinary life. Those things matter to me personally, and they shape the kind of practice I wanted New Horizon Therapy to become.
I don’t see people as a diagnosis or a list of symptoms. I see a whole person who is usually trying very hard to make sense of what they’re feeling and why their mind keeps pulling them in directions they don’t want to go. That matters to me, especially with OCD.
OCD can get so loud that after a while, it can be hard to tell what you actually think, what you want, or what matters most to you. It can start making decisions about your relationships, your time, and the way you live your life.
I built New Horizon Therapy because I wanted people to have a place where they could get specialized help without feeling reduced to the thing they were struggling with. As the practice grew, that became bigger than just me.
I wanted to build a team of therapists who care about doing good clinical work, but who also understand that therapy has to feel personal. You should feel like your therapist gets you. You should understand what you’re working on and why. And what you learn in therapy should actually help when you leave the office. That is still what guides New Horizon Therapy today.
We want to know what matters to you. What kind of spouse do you want to be? What kind of parent, friend, or person do you want to be? What would you choose if fear wasn’t making so many of the decisions for you? We help you become more aware of what is happening, build the skills to handle it differently, and start making choices that feel more like your own. Because OCD may be part of you, but it is not the whole sum of you.
And whether you work with me or another therapist on our team, I want you to feel like there is more room for you in your own life again.
We help you hear your own voice and make decisions based on what matters to you, not what fear demands.
We help you notice what’s really happening, because you can’t change what you don’t understand or own.
We want you to know that things can change, and that OCD does not get to decide what your life looks like.
New Horizon Therapy was never meant to be built around one person. It’s built around a team of therapists who genuinely care about the work and about each other. Everyone brings their own strengths, personality, and way of connecting with clients. We learn from each other, support each other, and care deeply about doing this work well.
There’s a lot of personality here too. We laugh, challenge each other, and keep growing together. We want New Horizon Therapy to be a place where great therapists love what they do—and where clients can feel that too.
